Dr. AC Presents

HIDDEN HORROR

So any fans of this site, or people that know me, know that I'm kind of a sucker when it comes to Horror Movie Reference Books. I just love them. I've always thought it is one of the best ways to learn more about this huge genre that we love, which seems to be a never-ending journey that is one hell of an eventful trip. So when Aaron Christensen decided that it was time for a new book on movies, he wanted to have one that could help celebrate movies that might not be that well known, even to the biggest of horror fan. As it says right on the cover, this book really is a celebration of underrated and overlooked  movies and is such a perfect way to help other fans to really Discover the Horror. I have to say that I couldn't be more proud to have this book be our first title under the Kitley's Krypt Press banner.

101 informed enthusiasts from around the globe pay homage to their favorite overlooked creature features, moldy oldies and trashy treats, showcasing silent classics (THE MAN WHO LAUGHS, THE HANDS OF ORLAC) and trippy mind-benders (POSSESSION, THE TENANT), schlocky shockers (THE GORE GORE GIRLS, THE HORROR OF PARTY BEACH) and foreign freakouts (ICHI THE KILLER, SANTA SANGRE). You’ll be combing your queue and video shelves to track down every last one! Discover the Horror…HIDDEN HORROR.

One of the things that Aaron was adamant about was the price tag. Being a serious collector of horror reference books myself, there is nothing worse that having to spend $40 on a softcover book. So Aaron has set the price at a whopping $15 to make sure that people can afford it. That's right, 313 pages of great reading by some of today's leading  genre writers for about the cost of a blu-ray. How can you go wrong with that?

Just click the button below to order your copy. The price is $15, plus $3 for shipping for inside the US. For outside the US, let us know the address and we'll let you know. It should take 1-2 weeks for the book to arrive.
